1st Day

Arrival Damascus :

After crossing the Lebanese border, we will get you to the hotel in Damascus to have a break and meet the guide. Then set out to discover the oldest continuously inhabited capital city on Earth, the old walled district of which is circumvented by seven gates. During our tour we will visit Al-Azem Palace – the epitome of a traditional Damascene house, now transformed into a folklore museum. Also, the pearl of Damascus the Grand Umayyad Mosque (A place for worshiping since the first millennium B.C)., Straight Street, House of Saint Ananias, the old and beautiful churches of the city, Buzuriyah Souq and Souk Al Hamidiyah. 2nd Day

Busra - Damascus:

After breakfast, we’ll visit the city of Busra, the city that was once the capital of the Roman province of Arabia and was an important stopover on the ancient caravan route to Mecca. A magnificent 2ndcentury Roman theatre, early Christian ruins and several mosques are found within its great walls too. Heading back to Damascus for an overnight.

3rd Day

Palmyra - Krak des Chevalier – Al-Mishtaya:

After breakfast, we will head to Palmyra where the remains of the biggest temple in the world are located, dating back to the 2nd century BC, among the ancient cemeteries in the valley of tombs. Afterwards, we will head to Krak des Chevaliers, one of the most well-preserved medieval castles in the World. Then, to Al-Mishtaya village for the night at the hotel.

4th Day

Safita – Amrit – Latakia:

Breakfast, and we will move to visit the tower of Safita that was constructed by the Knights Templar during the crusade. Then will we head to Amrit that was one of the most important Phoenician cities located in Tartous. Afterwards, to Latakia to spend the night at the hotel.

5th Day

Samra village– Salah Al-Dien castle - Latakia:

After breakfast, we will drive to Al-Samra village in Kesab, which is considered one of the most beautiful coastal areas in Syria, to visit the picturesque villages there. Then, we will drive to visit Salah Al-Dein castle with its amazing architecture. To head back to latakia for the night at the hotel.

6th Day

Hama – Apamea - Departure:

After breakfast, we will head to Hama to see the seventeen large Norias that Syria is famous for, the old alleys, and Al- Azem Castle which is considered one of the most beautiful urban monuments in the Ottoman era. Then, we’ll move to visit Apamea; the ancient Greek and Roman city founded in 300 BC. To head finally to the borders to leave.

Important Notes

To join our tour, please send a copy of your passport and provide your job title for the application of the security clearance.

  • The security clearance is a document we apply for, which allows you after issuing to obtain the visa directly from the border after paying the visa fee there.
  •  The process to get a security clearance needs between (7-15) days approximately.
  •  To insure you have the best experience here, please listen to your guide’s instructions all the time.
  • Feel free to take pictures, except for military checkpoints and soldiers. Your guide can help you with that if you’re not sure if it’s ok or not.
  •  Paying for the tour is in cash after arrival to Syria.
  •  Because of the sanctions in Syria, there are no ATM’s or credit cards, so make sure to bring enough cash for your stay.
  •  Lebanon also has a financial crisis so you can’t withdraw big amounts of money from their ATMs (100$ per week only) and you’ll lose lots of its value if exchanged. So, it’s better to have cash on you before you fly to Lebanon.
  • You can exchange USD or Euros to Syrian Pounds after arriving to Syria.
